Pike season is from 1st November to 31st March

A12 Cuton lakes is renowned for its prolific pike fishing, just over 10 years ago the lake record was 33lb, but in recent times the record in Specimen 2 lake is 28lb 10oz.  All of these 20lb plus pike shown on this page have been caught from Specimen 2 lake in 2012.

We allow Dead Baits or lure fishing on Specimen 2 lake.
NO LIVE BAITING.
You Can Day or Night fish for the Pike.

Specimen 1 Lake does hold a large head of Pike but we only allow Dead Bait fishing only, No Live Baiting and No Lure fishing. To Fish specimen 1 lake you will also need to register as a part of our Membership scheme for our Specimen 1 Lake

Our Pike Fishing tips.

Dead Baiting, Dead Roach float fishing is by far the best. Fish close to the margins, 4 to 8 feet from the margin is best. Fish on the back of the wind if it is a northeasterly, with a southerly winds the fish will follow the wind.
